This Privacy Policy explains how GEO Score ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by the owner of getgeoscore.com, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and only as described here.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account, and your authentication records (securely hashed credentials and session data).
• Audit data — the inputs you submit (brand name, website URL, industry, and any custom queries) and the results we generate (scores, competitor data, sentiment, recommendations, site-audit findings).
• Subscription status — your current plan and subscription state. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Usage & technical data — basic information such as IP address, browser type, and interactions needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• to provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
• to run AI-visibility analysis — including sending your audit inputs and the AI engines' responses to AI model providers for processing;
• to process subscriptions and billing through our payment provider;
• to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations;
• to communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.

3. Third-Party Processors

We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service. These processors handle data only as needed to provide their functions:

• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
• Managed PostgreSQL database — storage of account and audit data.
• Google (Gemini API) and Anthropic (Claude API) — AI models used to analyze AI-engine responses and generate recommendations.
• Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC) — our Merchant of Record for payments and billing.
• Google Workspace — email and correspondence.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Data Retention

We keep your account and audit data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Your Rights" below). We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or security purposes.

5. International Transfers

The Service runs on cloud infrastructure that may process and store data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data-protection laws than your own.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR in the EU/EEA and KVKK in Türkiye), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. 7. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
